Looking for Amazon KDP book formatting and book layout design?
Here, Ill help you to format your draft into professional book layout. The final book layout also support another print platform, i.e blurb, diggypod, lulu and others. To make high quality book layout, I use adobe InDesign. In my experience, using proportional font size and space will create more readable book layout. So the final printed book / eBook layout will be easier to read. The following workflow will give short overview in formatting book layout:
#1. Checking book manuscript: Checking book draft to ensure everything clear.
#2. Formatting book: All book parts will be composed page by page. In general, during formatting book layout, I will:
- Determine trim size
- Import draft into InDesign
- Format book layout element: margin, paragraph / character style; bullet & numbering, image placement, make running header, etc.
